Altrincham based J Davidson has acquired a brand new flagship vehicle. The Scania R730 6×2 Topline truck is the latest addition to the Altrincham based scrap-dealer’s fleet.

The James-Bond themed truck is named ‘Live and Let Die’ after the classic film. The vehicle is decorated with airbrushed images of the spy’s various incarnations including Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan as well as host of favourite characters from the movies.

The truck was the flagship vehicle for J Davidsons’ fleet in their showcase at Peterborough’s ‘Truckfest’ event on May 6 and 7 and is one of four themed trucks which they exhibited at the event.

Others in the collection include a Volvo FH16 ‘Terminator’ themed truck in addition to airbrushed trucks based on the Iron Man movies and popular Burnout video games.

Managing Director Jamie Davidson said: “The truck was one of the main attractions at Truckfest and it isn’t hard to see why. It not only looks great, but is also equipped to the latest specifications to meet the demands of our customers. We’re very happy with this new addition to our fleet. It’s sure to catch the eye of truck and movie enthusiasts alike when we’re out on the road.”
